This show is awesome--well written, fun, funny, and quirky. The cast is fantastic and the show moves really well (great rhythm/editing). It covers a wide range of challenges about growing up Gen Z and spreads awareness about issues that are important, but not in too much of an afterschool special way. I never really watched Black-ish (it has a different tone than this and is more of a traditional sitcom), but I binged the spinoff in a few days.
At first it was slow but now it is really good & enjoyable to watch; cant wait for future episodes to become available; aka Trevor Jackson is very cute; I saw Diggy Simmons starring in one of the episodes too, hes soo sexy, fine, & cute got damn 😍❤️🙂😉
This drug storyline better be going somewhere positive. It hasn't been THAT long since I was in college (ironically the same one Barris' daughter attends) and aside from the occasional joint and some booze, wide-spread drug use wasn't a thing among my friends. This is not a different world, it's a whole nother planet.
