Story: This was a good second book of this series. I'm glad that Daisy and her guys found out so much more information in this book. I was frustrated on Daisy's behalf with the guys bickering all the time and trying to control every situation and everything that Daisy did. I'm glad that Elvey return in this story but I'm sad that he keeps disappearing as well. If he was destined to be her mate, why keep disappearing and why not be more honest about things. I'm glad that Daisy discovered her power. I couldn't believe how much of a b*tch the goddess was. She's not someone that I'd want to look up to and I wonder what she'll do next.

Meg has delivered, again! I know these books are labeled fantasy romance, and the romance is SUPER-HOT, but it is the story line that keeps me hooked. We are no longer on Pandemonium so we get to discover a whole new world. I love discovering new worlds with Meg! Her detail and the way she unfurls the world before your eyes is enchanting. Even if that world is full of danger, broken, and desolate, it is still beautiful. The amount of emotion, and the way the emotions change from almost minute to minute, will keep you on the edge of you seat with your heart in your throat. The sexy scenes are beautifully written and will warm you up. There are phrases that made me laugh with their blend of modern/casual and proper speech. And the blend of magic and industry was perfect.

There is a lot of excitement in this one. We also learn more about Daisy's past, who her enemies are, and what future battles await her. There is a sense of not knowing who to trust. Even her men are dealing with issues that could tear them all apart. What more could poor Daisy have to face! This book ends in a cliffhanger, but the pause is at the perfect time so I don't feel like I have been left hanging.

I encourage anyone who hasn't read one of Meg's books to remedy that horrible tragedy immediately. Her writing style is brilliant, her world building is breathtaking, and her characters are ones you will fall in love with over and over again.

Oh my...things are heating up!

This is the second book. It picks up right from the last book. This book was better than the first one. I wish Daisy got to fight more. Personally, I like strong heroine's that save themselves. She says she can but when she gets into a fight she'll do one or two things and that's about it. One of her mates will take the brunt of the work or she'll get hurt.....I want her to be the badass I know she can be!

The men are improving too!

I will be reading the next book!! Elvey's my favorite tbh.

Just finished i could not put this book down. First of all read book 1 first!. This was more twists and turns then the first book with even more hot and sexy times with Daaisys men!. We find out more about the Dragon e one history and why some things have happened fantastic kept me intreged the whole way threw. We also learn more about the mysterious fae and what part they played in 9 centuries of Daisys life a must read!!

This was better than the first, but I still found is missing something that pulled the story together seamlessly. The characters actions perhaps? I can't find myself liking any of the dragon princes - they are a fraction of Daisy's age, and yet seem to think that now that she has accepted them as mates, she belongs to them and they can make her choices for her and treat her like a damsel. She was the Furies for 900years, she knows how to protect herself! Honestly any interaction between them seems to be sexual only. They can't even see her pain in not being able to connect with Elvey - why she was listening to them instead of claiming her mate I have no idea! Guilt and jealously reigned supreme instead of acceptance and compassion.

The goddess wasn't what I expected and I didn't like her power play with Daisy. And then the showdown with Lyssandra was over quickly, with Elvey once again saving the day.

The rest of the story kept me reading, and I will read the next one to round out the series, but it's just not drawing me in enough for this to be a five star read.
