I got this orbi with extended satellite to replace my spectrum modem rental which was giving me a headache but since I got orbi I love it it's a modem built with wifi and and i don't have to have separate modem and a wifi router since I change to orbi I haven't had any problems knock on wood I love it so far it works how it spouse to work and I'm running it on 400mbp no problem ❤ and works with spectrum and its fast. I love there app design which let's you know who connects to your wifi it also let's you customize names and icons which I love it helps me know what is connected to my wifi also it has a guest wifi in case you don't like giving you main wifi away also you can costimze the the time you want the guest wifi to be on and you can see who connects through the app also you can disconnect any person using your app like ps4 or phones using the wifi I find useful when I ground my little brother and you can name you wifi and guest wifi and have different passwords good thing you'll find the app really useful and customer services is helpfully to so I really like the orbi modem with wifi and the app you can do much like run speeds and see who is connected and name the consoles or anything is connected like firestick or game console or phones to be honest I saw some rewies and was looking through a lot consoles but I'm happy I chose those the only thing it gets a bit hot sometimes that about any complaints I have and the setup was pretty straight forward in case you get stuck customer helps you out one more thing if you have 5ghz and 2.4ghz with orbi it combines to one yeah I was bit lost when I wouldn't see the 2.4ghz(UPDATE)(SPECTRUM CUSTOMERS WITH 400MBPS ULTRA PLAN) 2/16/21I just called spectrum customer service to see if there was any news on the outage of spectrum internet services in my area. While I call customer service I was confused why they send menew internet kit. I had no idea and I ask they guy why and he told me that it was because spectrum was updating everything? And my netgear orbi built-in wifi was no longer going to work with there services and was out of dated and not in list. I'm mad Because they didn't give anyone a warning, second some of the modem built-in wifi ain't cheap, third they give you a there free equipment which is modem and wifi separately and that didn't work for me that was my number one reason why I got my own modem built-in wifi was because spectrum equipment acted up on me alot had so many problems playing games doing task or work stuff that's why i bought my own modem built-in wifi my orbi that can take up 500mbps. I hope my orbi is still works because this bull, I really hope orbi works I really love it and I hadn't had any problems with netgear orbi plus I love there app you can see who is connected and disconnected people or kids you can name and change the icons to anything that is connected to orbi and you can customize your own interne wifi name and change the passwords also you customize your account that i love alot but right now I'm in in tight budget and i can't afford to buy another one orthe lasted newer orbi version that might work with spectrum and with everything going on its hard. I'm mad and upset I mean $360.99 is still $$$ .we need better modem built wifi for work and printing and updating are phones also are smart tvs and homework crazy I had this orbi bearly since 01/21/2020. This crazy I'm really crossing my fingers this work I'm sure this already late to return even if I return it and get my money back the new version is bit more expensive. Im cross my fingers here and hope my orbi still works. I'll update see what happens in couole days 😭
