Some say it works great at 200°C and is workable for printing coins. However, some customers have reported that the filament slips and doesn't stick to itself after getting extruded. They also dislike the thickness.

Impressive filament
This 2.85mm filament works great at 200°C on the ultimaker s5 at all speeds from 70mm/s down to whatever is needed (for fine details I run it at 30mm/s).Many folks who have seen the final product have a difficult time believing it's plastic. This is my go-to for gold colored filament (I had tried matterhackers MH build gold, but that was more of a shiny yellow).Someone else said 5 star reviews may be paid, but I've purchased every roll, and received no compensation for my review.

I bought this because my printer uses 2.85mm filament and most "silky" filaments are made in 1.75mm size. I purchased a spool in gold, silver, and copper. I have printed with the gold and silver (I haven't opened the copper yet).

First... I tested in a small calibration part and a maker coin to test the material. There was perhaps a tiny bit more stringing than I've had in other filaments ... easily tweaked in the slicer settings.

I printed a couple of parts using "vase mode" (spiralize outer contour) and the results are absolutely exceptional! (for both my parts printed in gold and silver).

The "gold" has a gorgeous shine and is very bright. It actually looks like... well, gold, frankly. From a distance you wouldn't think it was a 3D printed part. If you print thing (e.g. vase mode), the gold is very slightly transparent (which you could probably play to your advantage if you want to give some a glowing look by lighting it from behind). The silver filament is a bit more dense ... even in vase mode where you just have a single wall thickness, light doesn't really shine through it (possibly a very bright light might). I have not yet tested copper.

I've been very happy with it and will certainly buy more whenever my current spools run out.

Definitely don’t use this unless you’re around your printer most of the day and at night. Prints well to start but once I leave it alone for the evening it clogs.
It snaps very easily when reloading your printer! I’ve only gotten 5 small items from it and all but 100g are gone! 😡

This is the best looking gold plastic I've used so far. The problem is that the thickness is very inconsistent causing occasional printing issues - i.e. it sometimes jams my printer. This is the only filament that I've had this problem with on my TAZ 6. I keep using this filament because it looks so good... when it doesn't jam.

This filament is absolute garbage. I can only assume the five star reviews are paid for because this stuff won't even work in my printer (despite supposedly being the EXACT same kind of filament I've been using for many other successful print jobs). I foolishly kept it for longer than my return window thinking it had to be a problem with me or the printer, but now I'm 100% sure it's the filament because it won't even melt, and when it does (at an unreasonably high temperature that is well above the recommendation), it emerges gloppy, in inconsistent thicknesses, and won't stick to the print bed. Don't waste your money, no matter how shiny it is.
