Used 8 panels to build a grid-tied system.

These panels are inexpensive and produce well. Best of all is that shipping if free with Amazon Prime. Many larger panels need to be shipped by freight (this costs hundreds of $). I used 8 of these panels to build a 800 Watt grid-tied solar system (costs less than $1000 before any tax credits). It's free standing so it can be moved. The solar panel angle can be adjusted for the different seasons. It makes a nice addition to a current net-metered system.

Two of these panels in series work nicely with the 1000 watt grid-tied inverter

The shipping boxes were a bit flimsy compared to the ones Renogy uses. One panel had a slight ding in the corner.

Well decided to save a buck and try these. Quite impressed. I was using the $136 Reno***y panels. The output is the same +- .05 volts. The cell soldier seems better. The connect cables are twice as long as the cables on the R**olgy panels. Now let’s see how long they last will update only if I have issues. The Ren*l*gy panels are better packed. My order came via USPS 7 days even though it said prime 2 day. There is no packing protection on the cardboard box it comes in. All panels I received did work despite the boxes being ripped open in spots.

This model puts out the most energy for the money.
There is a Youtuber that reviews all the 100 watt panels. I thought it was fake so I bought two of these models.
His review was spot on. Many of the other models including Mono versions do not put out as much wattage.
These in full sun will put out over 100 watts.

The construction is a little on the low quality although I have had no issues as of yet.

Purchase two of these panels. Arrived 2 days later from USPS in packing that was excellent. Nice units. Running two units delivered a reading of 9.34amps in the Arizona mid day. Listed has operating amperage of 5.62 each, so 11.24 for the pair. Getting the 9.34 is outstanding. I honestly was expecting to peak no higher then 8.5 amps on a perfect day. I recommend these units.

I have a MPPT connect to 3x 100w solar panel with a 150W Gel Battery, it has been full sunny day in Southern California last 3 days, last night I check, MT40, it show only generate average 950w per days . this seems not make sense, as lots of sun from 8am to 4pm (even after 4, still lots of sun, I guess angle sunlight make less). it should be at least 6 hours of full sun, and 6x100w w, but actually only 320w (for 6 hours) ?? that is about 50w panel, not really a 100w panel.

Not that I am dissatisfied but not really satisfied either. I have a 2 x 50W (can't remember the brand) mono and I wanted to add 2 100w. So I bought 2 of these Richsolar 100W poly solar panels. I put them side by side, no trees or anything blocking the way. No clouds pretty clear day. My 2 x 50W gives me around 3-5% more power than 1 of these solar panels. I recorded this for 4 hours. Not really complaining due to the price since 1 of my 50w was almost the same price as 1 of the 100w which I bought about 2 years ago. Just that I thought polys gives more power than monos but this one doesn't.

Gutes Panel, Regler fragwürdig

Hallo, ich habe nun 2 dieser Panele. Das Panel an sich ist ordentllich verarbeitet, gut aufzustellen, die PV Leistung ist nach meinem Empfinden gut. Meine Beaudens Power Bank geht auch bei leichter Sonne im März sofort auf 45-48 Watt Ladeleistung. Mehr kann sie eh nicht aufnehmen. Der beigelegte Solar Laderegler funktioniert, wirkt aber extrem billig, eine Anzeige der Ladeleistung fehlt, es wird nur die Spannung der Batterie angezeigt. Hier war unbedingt ein Upgrade notwendig. Ich habe auf ein Produkt aus dem Hause Victron gesetzt, bei dem ich auch die Panele in Reihe schließen kann um mit der höheren Spannung geringere Kabelquerschnitte verwenden zu können. In Verbindung mit dem Victron Regeler werden die 2 Panele mit den 200 Watt dann meine WoWa Batterie mit 93 Ah laden. Wie haltbar die Panele sind wird die Zeit offenbaren, aus meiner heutigen Sicht ist der Preis für die Tasche mit den Anderson Steckern sehr gut, auch ohne Verwendung des mitgelieferten Reglers. Mit einem guten MPPT Regler (In der Beaudens eingebaut) ist die Panelleistung selbst jetzt im März schon ordentlich, ich bin gespannt auf den Sommer.
Im nun angeschafften Set habe ich die Möglichkeit 1 Panel mit der Beaudens für den Betrieb von Kühlbox, Handy, Tablet mitzunehmen, was bei gutem Wetter problemlos reicht. Mit den 2 Panelen, dem Victron im Wohnwagen und der großen AGM Batterie ist autarkes Stehen problemlos möglich, solange es nicht tagelang regnet. Der große Vorteil der Solartaschen ist die gute Ausrichtung zur Sonne welche viel mehr Ertrag bietet als feste Solarflächen auf dem Dach. Das Mobilheim steht schön im Schatten und die Panele sind mit ein paar Metern Kabel in der prallen Sonne positioniert. Wer auch in Abwesenheit laden möchte kann ja die Solartaschen diskret auf das Dach legen. so flach wie diese sind, fallen sie nicht auf und werden dann eher nicht entwendet.
