Product is well made. We have 2011 Ford Escape we use for colonial camping, needed something to support us to tie down items on the roof. The door latches on the front doors are high, rear door latches are very high. Matt managed both easily. I can use one foot on front latch to balance myself. The rear latch is too high for me, so I will continue to use the rear seat. All in all, great product, sturdy, meets our need. A step built for both feet is a plus. It feels very safe and secure with the extra length.
Each step comes in its own box, both latches will not fit in one box. So I modified one box to fit both, space in the vehicle is at a premium when we camp.
The company should offer a deal for buying 2, and make a box to fit.
