I keep not receiving Dysbiocide, but this Ultra Vir-X stuff instead. Clearly Amazon has them labeled wrong. They don't seem to care. Will find another place to order from.

I used Biotics Dysbiocide simultaneously with Biotics FC-Cidal for SIBO and can say that (so far) this really works! I was diagnosed with SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth) after taking a lactulose breath test following a bad bout with food poisoning and multiple rounds of antibiotics afterward. Turns out the antibiotics cleared out my good bacteria leaving the bad to grow! Fast forward past a hellish 6 months of gas, bloating, digestive issues, and a newfound fear of food, and my gastroenterologist orders me to go on Xifaxan (rifaximin) to target and kill the SIBO. It worked, but only for 3 weeks. The SIBO came back (very common), and my gastro doc ordered me to go on herbal rescue therapy (the Dysbiocide + FC-Cidal combo). It's only been 4 days, but I'm feeling WAY better than I have in a long time. The testament? I ate a full Mexican cuisine dinner last night at a restaurant and had a SOLID stool today! Sorry to get graphic, but it has been loose for sooooo long! I have been on the low FODMAP diet (and feeling malnourished) for MONTHS afraid to eat any "unsafe" foods, but am now thinking I can branch out and eat high FODMAP foods like avocado and corn again without paying for it later.

Reader be warned, there are side effects with the Biotics combo (as a result of bacteria "die-off"), but they're bearable in relation to what you (we) have been dealing with! These include extreme fatigue, insomnia (took 2 hours to fall asleep one night) some brain fog, and sinus issues/allergies for the first few days. I've had a little nausea, but it's not bad at all. It's day 4 and my stomach is not making noises like it was, gas feels fruitful like it used to, and the bowel movements are whole, smooth, and feel soooooo good again! I'll keep you posted on my progress as I've been instructed to be on the Biotics combo for 1 month. Feeling optimistic and now seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. You, too, can get through this. If this review even helps 1 person, it was worth it!

Unfortunately, this combo (with FC Cidal) did not work for me. I recently tested positive for methane-dominant SIBO.
Back story: I was put on an antibiotic (Minocycline for non-severe acne, prescribed by a wreckless doctor) for almost 10 years, which resulted in severe mental health issues (depersonalization/dissociation/brain fog to the extreme). After doing my own research, I finally made the connection between gut and brain, and now have a doctor that directed me to a GI doctor to test my gut. Sure enough, my bacteria levels were off.
Like many people, the Xifaxan was prescribed but denied by my insurance. After finding the study that this herbal regimen had lots of success, I was excited. However, starting with my first dosage, these supplements instantly made me so tired I couldn't even sit up straight. I powered through a full month, twice a day, but it made all my symptoms worse. My brain fog was worse, my bloat wasn't just at night anymore but 24/7, and I had to ingest so much caffeine just to barely get my work done. It did clear my skin up, though, and help me get great sleep, but neither of those are big issues for me anyway.

I recommend looking into Antrantil for those that have been equally as frustrated with your symptoms and feeling hopeless. A group of GI doctor's created it specifically for IBS-C/methane dominant SIBO. I'm currently taking 2/3 times a day and it's helping my BMs for sure. Still bloated but I'm just relieved to have energy again. Hoping I'll remember to update after a full month.

This pared with FC Cidal has treated my SIBO. At first I had some “die off” symptoms (body aches/headaches/nausea) but since I’d already been on a no glucose/dairy/sugar diet so the symptoms were mild. Do avoid inflammatory foods while on this treatment (esp sugars of any kind and gluten) or it may take longer to heal.
Feeling good now! Get less bloated after eating and have less SIBO symptoms.
Ready to heal the lining now to prevent leaky gut from being an issue again.
