Surprisingly good.

And it's so because of Rusty Schwimmer. Solid and believable performance in an initially slow but good script. Give it a bit and her character will grow on you. A day in the life kind of story, so the pace is meandering. Despite this, Rusty's performance kept my interest throughout. Basically, at the end I liked Gabby enough that I thought she'd be an interesting person to hang out with every once in a while. Enjoyable flick.

Cute. I'm generally not into indies but this one is different. Even though it was slow moving like most indies, the dialogue, acting, and emotional stakes kept my interest. Kudos to the lead actress whose honestly and authenticity sets the tone for the entire movie and elevates the material.

The Lead Actress was Good.. and that was all

First of all, I have to say whomever that lead actress is, she is amazing. I love the fact that a VERY normal looking lower middle-class person was shown as a statement of beauty and lust. I am glad that we are seeing a more sophisticated ideology of what "beauty" is now. What I didn't like was the script. The idea of the story was great... the execution not so much. The spacing between each character was so slow and far between that I would forget certain people were still in the movie. I also didn't like how they did not properly build the getting to love my sister again bond in the movie. THer was not build up to that... Again, I don't think the problem was the actors/actress, but the script and improper character development.

It's just hitting me, about five minutes post watching what this movie is about: love, of yourself and others for who we really are - good enough, all of us. Just fantastic and each little part perfectly played.

Really loved this movie! Rusty Schwimmer is great as Gabby, a phone sex operator who flies to LA to meet a customer she has fallen for. Very sweet and funny. Kudos to all the actors, who did such a great job.

I didn't think I would enjoy this story this much! I don't want to ruin it, but if you like movies about the awkwardness of human nature, this is a good film for you probably. I loved that the main character wasn't a skinny, typical Hollywood type. That made it so much more believable and relatable! She really did a great job; I honestly would not have cast anyone else for this role; that actress was PERFECT! I also love that her phone guy was Carlton Lassiter from the 8 season hit tv series, Psych! Lassie!!!! lol! I really enjoyed this and it was nice to see Stefanie Weir in a slightly stronger role; she's always so fragile and falling apart --- seeing her as a more take charge perfectionist was a great and welcome change! You get 'em, Stef! I loved the whole cast, really, and am suggesting this to my cinephile circle!
