I bought this screwdriver for assembling electronic circuit boards into plastic housings for my employer. I needed an adjustable clutch to avoid over-torquing the screws and damaging the plastic housings.

The screwdriver is fast. The torque range for the clutch is excellent for my plastic housings. It seems to be fairly repeatable and consistent. It makes a nice, loud noise when the clutch reaches it's torque limit.

Battery life seems adequate. We use this in our assembly area. We keep the spare battery in the charger 24/7 so we can swap when the battery discharges. No issues so far.

The LED light is a gimmick. I never use it.

Ergonomics are OK but could be better. The fwd/rev switch could have been positioned better to allow thumb operation. It's not a deal killer though.

I bought a set of bits from elsewhere on Amazon. The bits are magnetic, which is really helpful for driving small screws. I have never used the phillips bit that came with the screwdriver. The bits I purchased are also longer, which is essential when driving screws in deep recesses in the housing.

The chuck on this screwdriver is easy to operate and has positive engagement.

I don't know if the manufacturer intended this product to be used in a consumer setting or industrial setting but it seems to be holding up fine in our industrial application.

I had never heard of the brand-name "Metabo" before, but I understand from reading other reviews of this tool that it was formerly sold under the Hitachi brand.
I use this tool mainly for electronic device assembly and disassembly, so I do not require a lot of torque. Controlability of a modest amount of torque is what I was really looking for, and this Metabo/Hitachi tool is exactly what I needed. I will also use this tool to install new guitar strings and drum heads using specialized adapters. Using one of the lower torque settings, this Metabo tool is perfect for these delicate operations.
This screwdriver is very much like a Milwaukee product that is considerably more expensive. I especially like the versatile torque adjustment and the removable battery. Most of these tools have integral batteries and must be connected to a USB power source to charge them. This model has a removable battery AND comes with a spare, so you can keep using the tool while charging the depleted battery.
I probably looked at a dozen different models of electric screwdrivers before finally deciding on the Metabo, and I think I made a good choice. This is a very high quality tool that suits my needs perfectly.
HOWEVER, it only comes with ONE bit, a #2 Phillips. I highly recommend that you buy a REXBETI #REX072 twelve-piece bit set to augment the kit. The Rexbeti set is available on Amazon and includes (2) #1, (4) #2, & (2) #3 Phillips tips, and one each 3mm - 6mm straight-slot tips. Each bit is 3 inches long. This is a great set of bits and only costs $10. I suggest you buy both of these items together to have a versatile and high-quality electric screwdriver and bits set.

I didn't buy this for the brand name but for what it did and it performs very well. I am a technician that installs PC's in medical offices and I have to assemble 10-100's of monitors & PCs with many small screws. This power screwdriver does exactly what I need it to do, to relieve stress & fatigue in my hands working with many small screws. With a good magnetic screwdriver bit set this driver works very well, particularly the spare battery which is very useful though a full charge usually lasts all day. It is comfortable in the hand either straight or with the handle bent & the buttons are all in the right position. My only critique is that you can leave the light on by mistake which does not turn off by time and you could drain the battery but I didn't need the light so it was not a problem. If you are driving large screws in a building environment this isn't really powerful enough. you are better off with a full size battery drill. Overall a great, well built, very useful power screwdriver.

In the right low-torque application, these work great. They don't have the raw power that even a basic drill or driver would have, so don't go this route if that is what you need.
We use them at work to drive thread gauges to check part quality, so controlled torque and speed is key.
