Before buying this adapter so I could use my Bose wired earbuds i was probably on my 6th adapter they either make a crackling noise or they would cut off and go back on.and a few that would not work at all .Search is over this one working well with my iPhone 8 Sounds good they look cheap but they work no messages pop up saying not compatible with this device forget about any other one buy this one I did the searching for you now it’s up to you The photo shown are the ones that do not work or at least they didn’t work for me on my iPhone 8 when Apple took away the regular Jack they made it necessary to buy an adapter to use normal wired headphones The ones shown in the photo are the ones that did not work but this little Simple adapter has worked wonderfully since I received it absolutely no issues sounds great no noises no drop outs of sound.

I recently laid my trusty iPhone 6s to rest, and because I'm really attached to fingerprint recognition as opposed to facial recognition, I chose an iPhone 8. I was all happy with it until I got in my car and tried to plug it into the stereo, so I could listen to my music instead of the radio. That's when I realized the headphone jack was no longer a thing. And since my car is 12 years old, bluetooth isn't an option. So I set out to find either a lightning/aux cable or an adapter.

I found LOTs of options, some a lot less expensive than this one, but even though those items claimed to be MFI certified, a quick search of Apples certification list didn't support that claim. Chargeworkx, however, was confirmed by Apple to be certified, as were a few other brands like Belkin. This Chargeworx adapter was the least expensive option, though, so that's what I ran with.

So far, it's perfect. It's just a tiny little thing that connects to the end of my aux cable, so I can plug it into my phone. My commute home is only about 20-25 minutes when traffic is heavy, so there's rarely a need to charge my phone at the same time (which this little adapter can't support). The sound quality is just the same as when I used my old phone without an adapter, so no issues there.

Bottom line: This company is telling the truth about this adapter being MFI certified, it's a fair price, and it works exactly as it should, so it's a good buy.

This adapter has let me use a number of older style corded headphones with my new iPhone and worked great with all of them. It has taken a certain amount of abuse and still works great. One only slight complaint is that rotating the 3.5 mm plug ends while in use makes a crackle/static sound sometimes, but a) don't do that and b) pretty sure every other similar product would have that issue too. I have been putting the phone in my pocket, running the cords under clothing and doing house work / yard work with no problems.

Buying a second one now because eventually I will lose the one I purchased earlier and I don't want to be without it.

I have a pair of Boise earphones that require this addition to be able to connect them to the mew flash charger plug in
The née IPhones no longer have the round hole to plug in any hear phone’s
I misplaced the one that came with them and am not sure if these are as good
But they work fine The first one I got had the end break off after a week
I must say I had another one the next day before I even got the. Broken one mailed back
Because I only have a new pair of wireless Boise earbuds now to compare them to
It is not a fair comparison
They look nice and well build This one has been fine
I would buy these again and recommend them to others
    Plus the price is right

I first bought this to use with my iPhone and high end Etymotic ER-4's and they worked well. Then I decided to buy some extras to have on hand and found a pair selling for less money, but when I tried the less expensive ones, I heard a significant hiss that I decided that I couldn't live with. When I went back to the Chargeworks dongle, the hiss was gone, and I was back to good sound, with no extra noise. The noise might be a problem that happens if you use high end earbuds or headphones (I also got the noise when using my headphones), and might not matter if you're using less fancy equipment. In any case, given my experience, I'd recommend these; they were worth the extra money spent, and they weren't that costly anyway.

I recently had to switch to an IPhone for work, and I was dreading it because of the ways in which Apple is a pain in the ass. One of those ways is the absence of a 3.5 mm audio out port in the bottom of the phone. This solves that problem nicely. I have a pair of One tripple driver in-ear headphones with volume controls and a mic for phone calls, and I was concerned that they wouldn’t work on my new iPhone XR, but they work perfectly with this adapter. The connection on both side is also nice and solid, and 3.5 mm plugs click in quite firmly.

So this adapter solved some problems. However, I do remain concerned that using the main port for headphones is going to put a lot of stress on it over time, going in and out of pockets, but that’s Apple’s fault for doing away with the 3.5 mm port, and not this adapter’s fault.
