These really live up to the name quiet comfort! I have the Sony’s that came out this same year that everyone compares these to, and the latest Beats (Solo3).

The Bose are by far the most comfortable out of these 3 and really every pair of headphones I’ve ever had. I love them! The noise cancellation is so good, I wear them at night and any time I want to sleep. Shoot, then when I don’t want to take them off but I do want to watch my tablet, I just switch them on and badda boom!

They have great sound. They’re Bose so you know you’re not going to be getting great bass but they’re still well worth the money. Now on sound out of the three, Sony blows everybody out of the water. The sound is so dynamic!!! Every night all I did was jam out to music. I haven’t gone so hard since middle or high school! I’m 36 currently so we’re talking 20+ years! Ugh I miss them. Why? Well they broke at about the year mark. I only found out recently that it’s a known defect in the manufacturing! I thought I was just an idiot. You can have all the sound in the world, but what can you do when they’re broken? They have this great equalizer in the app that adds for entertainment for hours on end. So fun to find the best setting for every song! 😍But as one reviewer said, these headphones do it for you automatically. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Best Bass? Do I even need to say? Beats. Come on! That was a no brainer. It’s not just bass, they have great sound. Having said that, they hurt your ears after many hours of use. For me, with my headphones, I often fall asleep listening to music or watching tv. So to wake up with hurting ears at that price point is a letdown. Because there is more bass the sound is a little bit more dynamic than the Bose. Now, Bose has a much smoother sound than everyone else. Kind of giving everything a quieter sound. I have to turn the sound up more. What is an acceptable sound volume for these is blaring when I switch to my Beats.

It’s very much a Goldilocks situation when you take all of these things into consideration. The Bose wins hands down as far as noise cancellation. Like I said even without them being turned on they dull out the noise quite well. All in all if you’re looking for above average sound and waaaaaayyyy above avg comfort, the Bose is the ultimate winner. The construction is better than all and that’s really what pushes them in front.

I was able to get these on sale on Black Friday and on an installment plan. Seeing as how there’s a newer model and with the discount, I got these for almost $200 less than what they first cost when they came out. This makes for an excellent purchase. These are also rated slightly higher than the newer version, too. So this is a superb set all around. I did all of the work so you don’t have to! You found them! Look no further. 😍

Good While they Lasted

I bought these on Cyber Monday in 2020 (November). They worked well and sounded good. Fit was a bit loose for me. I wore them every time I went out but hardly ever used them at home. The sound quality was good but not as great as the V-Moda headphones I already had (but those had no noise cancellation or bluetooth). Two years and 4 months later they will not charge and Bose does not repair them. They would give me a discount for the 45 model, but it was still as much as I had paid in 2020. It was hard to find the serial number, because I had lost the box. I found it on the app on my phone eventually. The number on the ear cup under the cover turned out not to be the serial number, and you need the serial number to either trade up or report a problem. For a few days I used these with the cord between the headphones and my iphone, but sometimes even that didn't work and I don't know why. I found a Sennheiser HD BT420 set on sale for $139 at BH and Amazon and bought that. Just received today and they sound better, but the on/off button is harder to find. The only button I used on the Bose was the on/off for bluetooth, but I didn't use the other buttons because I couldn't see them and they are small, similar to the Sennheiser.

These are beautiful, light and comfortable to wear. As with the aforementioned appreciation of sound quality which these have, the noise cancellation of these is amazing, thus, boosting the sound quality of these in environments with ambient noise that these can seriously minimise - I played some music through these in two noisy pub environments, and they virtually cut it all out.
Very impressed, they look, feel and sound beautiful.

living with a music student was becoming tougher and tougher. I prayed every night that the violent screeching of strings would just stop. that god might steal her last breath in the form of some sort of quick and painless accident. When I realized this was not going to just happen by chance i knew i had to take matters into my own hands. I crept quietly towards the door to her room, not that she would have heard me over the caterwauling coming from her violin. Knife in hand i was ready to strike, ready for the nightmare to be over. When suddenly there was a knock at the door. My heart jumped. I opened the door to receive these bangin' Bose QuietComfort 35 (Series II) Wireless Headphones! I put them on and finally, quiet, tranquility, peace.

I have the rose gold pair which look dope. The ear cups are very comfortable and feel great quality. The noise cancelling feature is really good for studying, on the subway or anywhere with harsh sound. They don't completely block out all noise but still make a massive difference.
They are really comfortable on my head however, they don't really work for me at the gym as they slip off. I just use cheap ones at the gym as my bose are really for studying and going into town.
Sound quality is incredible. I can't imagine going back to listening any other way.
They look amazing, sound amazing and feel amazing

I have used the headphones not very often for about 1,5 years. I love them but unfortunately the ear pads get tired very quickly even after a year. You can buy a replacement but not white ones. I looked on Bose website, spoke to their support and you cannot get the replacement for white ones anywhere. So it’s annoying as they sell very expensive headphones and then you are left with nothing because you either can buy fake pads or pay for new headphones! This is outrageous!

Rubbish, without a long range Bluetooth transmitter in the laptop

Admission. For the first week, I used these headphones with a Windows 10 laptop. Every youtube video would hiccup 10 times. I was in despair. I kept the box was on the kitchen table, ready to return these rubbish headphones. You should have heard the moaning going on. However they are so comfortable, I wanted to keep them. But couldn't understand the difference in performance from reviews and my experience.

Solution: With a laptop, you'll need a long range Bluetooth transmitter. As a last resort I paid £25 for the Avantree Leaf Long Range Bluetooth Transmitter. The difference is like day and night.
The bluetooth can be 40 foot away and transmits perfectly. It reconnects instantly (when i wander outside, too far from the house). Youtube videos play perfectly time and time, without hiccups.

Please don't consider buying these Bose headphones without a Bluetooth transmitter for your laptop. The transmitter works with PS4 as well.. so you can have peace while the kids are gaming. Whether you'd give them these headphones for gaming is another question.

If your neighbours think lockdown is a big party please do yourself a favour and buy these, the investment is worth it.
My neighbours drag their stereo into the garden at the first sign of sun and play awful rap music.
If you are that neighbour please also buy these.
Answers to the questions I had before puchase:
Just earphones on head turned off- muffled sound but still annoying. Noise cancellation low, starts to take the edge off. Noise cancellation high, takes out a lot of the base especially. Noise cancellation on high and my music playing, get rid of neighbours (depending on what music you are playing and volume of course but I dont listen loud.)
Stress levels are much better now knowing I have these if needed!!!!
