Cool little charging station Great price

I just bought a RV trailer and I noticed that it did not have a single 12 volt source to plug and charge or operate a 12volt device. Very strange. I saw this nicely arranged panel that offered a volt meter (is nice so I can keep an eye on my battery voltages, my trailer did not come with a volt meter), on/off switch (which is nice so I can turn the panel off so I don’t accidentally discharge my rv batteries), two USB ports and a 12v cigarette lighter port (it does not hold an actual cigarette lighter) for 12v applications or charge cords. BTW. IT DOES NOT COME PREWIRED NOR A WIRING SCHEMATIC. It does come with enough of the female solderless blade connectors to complete the job. But you will need to buy tandem blade adapters (the two male by one female type so you can place two wires onto one blade mount (don’t put two wires into one connector, it’s unsafe and janky). I wish it came with a template to assist in sizing the hole to cut out and a wiring schematic would have been helpful but I understand that people might have different ways that they might want to wire this panel or to use the panel. Such case would be, if the panels power was wired to a switched power source, then the switch on the panel could be used to remotely operate something else unrelated to the panel itself. Or the volt meter could monitor another battery, like a secondary battery. Great product, built well and very convenient.

This item came next day and was a snap to install in my camper.

Tied into the existing 12v wiring and was up and running in less than 30 minutes. The rocker has three prongs - copper color being common negative, middle being constant load positive and outside being the common positive to switch.

This doesn’t have wiring, but I knew that before buying. It would be nice if it did, but no biggy to strip some speaker wire and set it up.

I hadn’t been able to get the older cigarette lighter adapter working for my new inverter, but this did the trick and worked like a charm.

It does come with connectors that are sized correctly with the exception of the switch. The switch blade connectors on the back of the switch are much smaller than the blades on the other items. The provided connectors still work but the connection is loose. Switch sits loose in socket but so are is holding.

This piece is awesome. I installed this to my 2019 RAM Rebel truck bed to plug in my electric cooler. The wiring description was perfect for what I needed. I used the power and neutral from the trailer hitch wiring. The only issue I truly had with the installation was I could not mount this flush against the wall of the truck bed. I drilled the holes and pushed the cover and tubes through the holes, wired the outlets and capped the backs of the tubes in between the two panels of the truck. A bit tricky, but the unit is flush and tight. Looks great and even functions better. Very impressed especially by the cost.

Great Addition for a car

I bought this because when we bought our car we noticed a few weeks later that there are no USB outlets or even a 12V outlet for the backseat. I installed this panel in the back of the center console and now we have places for people to charge their phones and plug in a 12V outlet! I wired it to the accessory fuse in the cars fuse block so that it only has power if the key is in the "Run" position or the car is running. I did notice that the power switch is slightly loose but haven't had a problem with it popping out as of yet. Overall very pleased with how this setup worked out for me!

Eight metal slots on the back (two at the on switch, two at the 12V outlet, two at the USB and two at the voltmeter) have to be wired together in series so make sure you have some extra wire. You may also need some bigger connectors than the ones provided since you will have to insert two wires at some of the connectors. It would have been nice if this wiring had been completed by the manufacturer.
