Serpent Sting Kindle Edition
She has put her entire family at risk. Including her new life partner, Australian Army Medic Sinclair McCrae. Eight years on from her investigation into an international crime syndicate, the criminal trial is again delayed.
For those who matter, her betrayal is not forgotten. Salucci knows it. She feels it. Fear dictates her every move.
A vengeful hunt continues for the retired cop who turned son against father, and paid with his life. Or did he? Nicholas Delarno, believed to be dead, is planning his own attack against the family who betrayed him.
Salucci will do anything to protect her son. Nicholas will do anything to convince her that he's changed. And his father, Silvio Delarno, will do anything to take the child and bring him into the crime family fold.
From an Afghanistan war zone to the stunning Fijian coastline, from the pomp of award ceremonies to secretive Venice, Serpent Sting unravels one family's desire for revenge and another's quest for peace.

From the Author
Serpent Sting is the second book in my organised crime series. By the time I finished writing my debut novel, Serpent Song, I was so caught up in the story, I couldn't let it go. Just like reading a book when the characters become so relatable they seem like family friends, it was the same for me writing this story. Although, in reality, I'm not sure about Nicholas Delarno. But he sure is fun to write!
I really enjoy writing detective stories. I love analysing the systems and histroy of organised crime gangs. I particularly love writing action scenes and intertwining stories with fact and fiction. I take my craft seriously, but not myself, so you will see humour sprinkled throughout as my characters develop.
If you take the opportunity to read by books, I hope you feel the pleasure and joy I felt when I was writing them. Don't forget to look for other titles in the series. Serpent Song (book 1) and The Trouble with Serpents (book 3).
With love, Toni

About the author

Toni Grant writes international crime and mystery, adventures interwoven with history and family sagas. Her characters are all about family, loyalty and fate. A lot like Toni in fact, but without the mafia tendencies.
Toni has published three books, collaborated on projects in the wellbeing space including gallery installations and written adaptations for youth theatre. She is currently working on two major projects. Establishing her not for profit, Pen to Power, and writing the fourth book in her seven part Serpent series.
Now based on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, Australia, Toni spent her childhood exploring the reaches of their sugar cane property in North Bundaberg. Other adventures include obtaining a Bachelor of Business (Tourism), living in the Australian outback, organising a community fundraising concert, living in a haunted house, raising a family, working in a deli and travelling.
When she’s not writing, Toni can be found on the yoga mat, at the beach, browsing vintage shops or with pen in hand, mind mapping.
