Awesome Design! Very Compact (About half of Mac Mini surface area) with tons of ports. There are 2 HDMI, 5 USB 3.0, 1 Micro SD Card Reader, 2 LAN ports, 1 3.5mm Headphone Jack. It also supports both 2.5Ghz and 5Ghz Wifi connection and has bluetooth 4.0 in built. It is really cheap when compared to the cheapest Mac Mini. FYI, you CANT UPGRADE RAM on this one.It boots up fast and perfect for browsing, checking emails, Social Media and Watching videos. So far haven't heard a big fan noise (you can hear minute fan sound) and I have also not been doing super CPU intensive work on this at the same time.I own an old Apple 2012 Mac Mini which has become very slow over the time even after RAM upgrade, so was looking for a cheaper alternative for light use (I am in no way comparing this Mini PC to Mac Mini :) ).I want to use this as a travel PC and would like to carry it with me where ever I go.I would definitely recommend this product for any one looking for a Mini PC to do basic things.
This small form factor PC is perfect for low-power computing needs. I am using it as a shop PC for internet access and printing with various label printers. I 3D printed a VESA mount bracket to attach the PC to the back of the monitor to keep the footprint as small as possible.
The body is metal with plastic lids and feels very solid. There are two threaded mounting holes on the back. It comes with Windows 10 Home preinstalled, and nothing else. No bloatware or useless software (other than what Microsoft bundles with Win10.)
Inexplicably, this PC came configured with two partitions, a 75GB C drive and a 43GB D drive. They were both on the same physical device, so I simply merged them together. There are several ways to increase the storage capacity, however. There's a MicroSD card slot, several USB 3 ports, and the box includes a SATA adapter cable so you can install a 2.5" SSD or HDD inside the case. There is a mounting area on the lid, which can be opened by removing the rubber feet and unscrewing the philips head screws.
The two LAN ports is a great feature to have, as I routinely have to connect to IP-controlled devices and don't want to lose internet access when I do. I don't have a use for the two HDMI ports, but I could easily see this being a lightweight workstation solution.
Overall it's a good small form factor PC for low-power tasks that needs a full Windows 10 machine.
I am absolutely thrilled with my AWOW Mini Desktop PC! This small but mighty machine packs a serious punch, with enough power to run a small Asterisk PBX server. The small form factor is perfect for those who want a powerful PC without taking up too much space on their desk.
Not only is the AWOW Mini Desktop PC powerful, but it's also incredibly easy to use. Setting it up was a breeze, and I was able to start using it right away without any issues. I was especially pleased to discover that I could install Linux on the machine, which made it even more versatile.
Overall, I highly recommend the AWOW Mini Desktop PC to anyone looking for a compact yet powerful machine. It's perfect for those who want to run a PBX server or other small server applications, and the ease of use makes it a great option for anyone who doesn't want to spend hours tinkering with their computer.
This is NOT a gamer machine, it is a decent little machine for browsing the net and doing some other things. I use it to program ham radios and it is perfect for that. A decent value for the money. My only complaint is the Micro SD card reader does not seem to be functioning for me. Not sure if a driver update required or something, but their website has nothing related.
All in all, if you jsut need a Windows machine to do routine stuff, this is a good choice, plus it has a lot of USB connectivity available.
Addendum: the sd card reader does function fine, apparently I had the card upside down. So no problems with little machine so far.
I wouldn't suggest this as a desktop or even a Media Center PC as it has only 6GB of memory and a slow Celeron chip. However, having two ethernet interfaces makes it rather an ideal PFSense box.
I suspect that if you loaded this up with a lightweight Linux Distro you could do some pretty useful things as well. Just wouldn't use this with the windows 10 that comes on it.
Small footprint, low power draw, and dual ethernet.. it works like a charm for PFSense.
You will lose the WIFI adapter as it isn't supported within PFSense/FreeBSD but that isn't a problem as you wouldn't want to use PFsense as a wifi access point anyway.
Would have liked the ability to expand memory so I could do more filtering but couldn't beat the price for what I was looking for.
This was the first "mini" PC I have ever purchased. I work from home so I prefer to use a desk top for that. There is a lot of information that has already been written so I won't add much here. I really like the concept of a mini and this one has tons of features for the price. It is quiet and has done everything I have asked it to do. It's small footprint is a big bonus. If I were to pick one negative it would be speed. It is not the fastest computer but that is all relative. I am not a gamer and it is faster than my old laptop. It has lots of disk space and multiple USB ports. Boot up is real fast and the learning curve for using it was minimal. I would absolutely recommend this for everyday use at a very reasonable price. Only time will tell if it lasts. So far I am happy with it.
I have years experience with Linux and x86 type systems. But wanted to let potential buyers of this particular Intel N3450 system know that not every Linux will install successfully. I've hard a very difficult time getting any recent 2021 or later version of RHEL 9, or Fedora 36+ Linux installed. I have been able to get RHEL 8 and RockyLinux 8 and Ubuntu installed, but I don't want those. Just curious if this is a problem with all Intel N3450 based systems, or just this specific AWOW AK34 that is problematic. None of my other mini 4x4 PC systems based on Intel or AMD chips have had this problem. I'd say if you want to get a system for various Linux installs and you want to make sure it works and you have flexibility, then choose a different mini 4x4 PC model, and perhaps even a different manufacturer.
I would not recommend this machine for PFSense. Worked great for a few months and has been having issues that almost are certainly hardware related. Even OPNsense has been giving me issues. Still for what I paid a very solid machine, but if your goal is strictly firewall related, I would look else where.

Bought this PC to act as a firewall.
After ~2 weeks of constant up time it's averaging 40 degrees C (104F)
CPU Usage never goes above 20/25%
For a firewall, RDP PC, media, machine this is a good PC for the price
I threw away my annoying android box and got this one. No looking back
-Its enough to play videos, including Youtube, Netflix, and internet browsing, or low requirement programs and some browser games. Videos play too slow if they are not in full screen mode, but that doesn't really bother me, as soon as I maximize them to full screen, they work smoothly. It will run 4k videos on 30fps.
-Had a couple of freezes and forced restarts early on, now working smoothly for quite a few months. I keep it on all the time, i use it for browsing and to watch browser based video subscriptions that built in smart TVs cant run.
-Barely any noticeable running noise in the living room. It does have a fan, which i prefer over fan-less.
I do not feel I need anything faster than this for my current usage.
I was seriously surprised at well this little PC performed. Right out of the box there were no issues at all setting up windows and first boot went seamlessly. Lots of slots and in a solid case, it's a perfect PC for email/surfing and watching HD streaming videos....I would buy this again if I need another one.

I am using this as my media center. It set up with no fuss at all. Updated to the latest Win10. I installed a second SSD inside (that is SO nice to have available) and plugged my external drive (loaded with all my existing media) to the USB. There are more USB ports than many other media boxes. My only complaint is that they are all in one spot. Having at least one on a different side would be convenient. It has a fan to keep it cool, but it is so quiet I never hear it. Just loving it!
