I love ninja sex party. Ninja sex party is funny. They make me laugh a lot. Danny sexbang is funny. But ninja Brian is a lot funnier. Danny sex bang is actually kind of lame. It’s kind of a miracle that ninja sex party is one of the greatest bands in the world despite the fact that Danny cries all the time. Under the covers volume three is an excellent album consisting of covers of classic songs mostly from the 80s. This is a must have album if you love the 80s or ninja sex party.

I didn't know the majority of the songs on this album, but I loved each take from NSP! In both prior Under The Covers albums I was only fond of 3-4 songs from each, but I would happily listen to this entire album on repeat!

One of my favorite bands released a new album, and I was able to get it for super cheap on amazon for my girlfriend. It was honestly one of the easiest purchases I have ever made. Amazing Christmas gift and she was incredibly happy to add it to our collection of NSP CD’s.

I love NSP, but their albums always have less musoc than I would like. They could easily fit 2 or more extra songs on them. More music please!

Mittlerweile gibt es fast so viele Cover-Alben wie Alben mit Eigenkompositionen von Ninja Sex Party - "Vol. III" aus der "Under the Covers"-Reihe ist mittlerweile draußen. Erneut haben sich Danny "Sexbang" Avidan (Gesang) und "Ninja" Brian Wecht (Keyboard, Synthies, Programmierung) dafür ihre Kumpels von Tupper Ware Remix Party ins Boot geholt, die für Gitarre, Bass, Schlagzeug und zusätzliche Keyboards zuständig sind. In mittlerweile bekannter Manier covern sich NSP durch Rock- und Popsongs der 70er und 80er, darunter zum Beispiel "We Built This City" (Starship), "Owner of a Lonely Heart" (Yes), "Photograph" (Def Leppard), "I Won't Back Down" (Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers), "Down Under" (Men at Work) und "Sledgehammer" (Peter Gabriel). Und natürlich hat Rush-Fan Danny mit "Closer to the Heart" wieder einmal ein Cover seiner Lieblinge untergebracht.

Meist bewegen sich die Coverversionen relativ nah an den Originalen, entsprechend ist bei der Synthpop-Nummer "Safety Dance" (Men Without Hats) auch keine "echte" Band dabei. Bei "(Don't Fear) The Reaper" (Blue Öyster Cult) trauen sich NSP auch mal, ein Lied - wenn auch nicht drastisch - umzukrempeln, wovon ich mir mehr gewünscht hätte. Spaß macht "Under the Covers, Vol. III" trotzdem - als Nächstes wäre aber wieder ein reguläres NSP-Album mit eigenen Nummern schön.

The Third installment of their Under the Cover series shows again the great musical Range of Danny Sexbang and Ninja Bria. The Album Opens with a lot of Energy that keeps up for the Whole Duration of it , if you like the Tracklist and would like to see what is possible with the Songs on this Album it is definitly worth your time.
