I am a dude and don't always think about exfoliating and skin care routines. But, recently, I got into using some sort of scrub in the shower every few days to keep my skin softer and to take better care in general. Originally, I was going to buy a similar product for about $60. But, I found this Goshi product and figured for $15, it can't hurt to try. If it sucks, I'll toss it and try again. I tend to really trust products from Japan, so this purchase was already quite promising.

Tossing it didn't happen! This cloth is so enjoyable and effective to use. I know nothing about the beauty industry, but I will attempt to summarize what I enjoy about this:
1) It is very long. Like others, I fold it a couple times for general use, then let it all out to scrub the back with moves like you're dancing the Twist. It's easy to hold and both glides across your skin nicely, while maintaining good grip in your hand.
2) It lathers up REALLY well. Better than a washcloth, better than anything. Part of the reason I hated using a shower cloth is that it felt like you had to use half the bottle to cover your body and 80% of the soap was just falling off and into the drain. With the Goshi, I can get through my entire body (thoroughly) with one to two lathers. I really only rinse to start a new area with cleaner soapiness.
3) Hangs up and dries really well. Seems to be quality and will last.

Overall, glad I saved myself 2.5x the money and went with the Goshi. I think $15 is pretty reasonable for a nice shower wash cloth. And now thinking about it, anything that cost more than that, I would probably just go back to a regular washcloth. I'll be ordering a few more of these, for sure.

So there I was, wishing and praying that god would answer my prayers for a good loofah until I saw... their instagram ad. I knew that this was the one for me, no stick and I can just grip it and squeeze it and grip it and squeeze it to dry it out was the best thing about it. So I buy one, next day I get it. I bring my stinky ass to the shower and begin my rub down UNTIL some bozo opens my bathroom door and demand I get out of the bathroom. As I do he tries to take my scrubby and I say what the heck man this is mine and mine alone. I grab it, but the mans grip was stronger, I began to grip it and squeeze it and grip it and squeeze it and as I do the suds from the body wash I applied on it started to bubble up and filled up the entire bathroom. There we were, two stinky men in one tight bathroom grippin and squeezin and gripping and squeezin and the bubbles that surround us almost angelic and soft as we begin to lose grip from the suds and before we know it, we are clean. Who knew that all that gripping and squeezin and grippin and huggin would result in a clean wash...... I think I'll buy another

Feels really good. Great for all parts of the body and like that it can be washed, I assume in a bag. Replaces all moldy loofahs and landfill poofs. Now if only they could come up with some colors.

I have tried other recommended shower towels before and this is the only one I have found that doesn't irritate my skin. I use this daily to clean my back in the shower and haven't had any issues with itching or skin irritation when used to lightly scrub.

They certainly get a bit rougher after a few months of use, but never end up irritating my skin before I end up replacing them for hygiene purposes, because you should always remember to replace them every few months!

If I had to change one thing, I would make them a bit shorter as I never end up using the full length.

I bought a cheap Japanese wash towel from a well known auction site for about £4, it did the job but was frayed at the edges, it was cheap plastic and you get what you pay for, I used it for a couple of months and then read some reviews on this GOSHI product and decided to buy one. The price fluctuated on amazon, I knew it should be around £16 so waited and stepped in when the price was right.
I am very pleased with this wash towel. It is far longer that the cheap one i had before and the quality has to be in the hand to be appreciated but it is so much nicer to use. Even though it’s ribbed the GOSHI feels softer on the skin than the cheap ones but does a great job of leaving your skin clean and refreshed. If you read the instructions on the packaging, you will realize that you only need about a small amount of shower gel, about the size of a marble, and that is enough for your whole body. Just turn the water off whilst you gently exfoliate all over and then turn the shower on to wash it all off when you are done.
Great thing to have, have recommended to friends
