Legal Disclaimer
<p><b>How long it takes to charger?</b> HT-H8 should be charged for two hours at least every three months for longer battery lifespan. </p> <p><b>Can this camera work in a total darkness?</b> Hti-Xintai Infrared Camera is used for detecting infrared radiation from object which won't be affect by the strength of any visible light. It performs in darkness as well as under sunshine. </p> <p><b>Why the temperature I get from the camera is far below the real data it should be?</b> Different material and same material with different surface may be different in IR emissivity. To adjust the IR emissivity according to the table in our manual is important so that you would be able to get the most accurate temperature results. </p> <p><b>Why I can see 2 images not align with each other?</b> When you are in IR-VL mode, the visible light image and infrared rays image are all on the monitor. You may need to calibrate the image while the detecting distance is changed. Please refer to the Image calibration instruction in the manual. </p> <p><b>Can this model HT-H8 detect electrical power lines or hot water pipe behind the walls?</b> That's really depends on the scenario. Generally, you can't detect the object behind a barrel such as a wall that does not allow infrared rays going through. But in most of scenario we can indirectly ‘see’ the hot water pipe behind a wall as it heats up the wall and generate typical thermal distribution on the surface of a wall. </p> <p><b>What is the farthest distance it can detect? </b>The best test distance is 20cm-50cm which covers most of professional test scenario. </p> <p><b>Notice</b>: Any questions , please feel free to contact with us <b>Hti201801@hotmail.com</b></p>

HT-H8 thermal imager(384*288)
Thermal imager with WIFI, high resolution 384×288
The IR camera has an ability to “see” heat this way creates an entirely new level of awareness for professionals and consumers, it is much different with a traditional inspection. In buildings and mechanical systems, this includes water penetration, heat or cooling loss, blockages or leaks in plumbing systems, malfunctioning mechanical systems (motors, bearings, belts, heat pumps, etc.), overloaded or lose electrical circuits, and building diagnostic issues.
- Thermal resolution determines how clear the thermal image is on your camera. (e.g., 384 x 288). The first number represents horizontal clarity and the second number, vertical clarity.
Thermal imager with WiFi function
After enabling WIFI, use the mobile device to search for WIFI. The hotspot name is ThermalCamera-xxxxxx (xxxxxx is the last six digits of the MAC); access the device through the IP address 192.168.230.1. In the mobile device, you can set the color palette, blending degree, emissivity, maximum/minimum value, language conversion, and synchronize to the machine. The settings on the machine can also be synchronized to the mobile device (Note: if not converted, on the mobile Refresh on the device). Click on the photo on the mobile device and the image is saved on the machine.
USB Charging And Image Transmission
Built-in chargeable 18650 battery and easy to
download the captured picture to your computer
by the common usb cable.
5 Color Palette
HT-H8 provides five types of color palette:
Rainbow,Iron oxide red, Cold color,
White heat and Black heat.
Manual focus
Rotate the lens to adjust the focal length.
According to the distance of the measured object, adjust the focal length you need.

HVACCan be used to quickly find and inspect pipe leaks, as well as water pipes that are laid under the floor or plasterboard. The HT-H8 can easily detect the true heat of the pipe radiated through the surface. |
ElectricElectrical faults are one of the most common faults in buildings. In most cases, these electrical problems are invisible to the naked eye, but the use of HT-H8 can immediately see hot spots on infrared images. |
PCB inspectionThrough the HT-H8 focusing function, observe the circuit board at close range, conduct a comprehensive inspection, and effectively complete the work. |

Absolute nightmare to get the WiFi to work. Tried for months until I found out you have to disconnect your WiFi on your (android) phone before trying to connect the camera. Only then will it connect and stream images. The stream rate is much slower than the live image.
It is 25 Hz camera, but is NOT high speed. Anything moving is blurred.
The first camera I received had a completely defective focus, nothing within 4 feet was in focus. The replacement worked. The closest focus is listed as .19 meter, mine measured .22 meter. The focus ring is difficult to rotate.
But for a $1000 nothing else comes close.
In a way, that's true. 25Hz is nice, and 384x288 is very nice. And the image on-screen is super crisp and pretty.
Unfortunately, everything else about the handheld lets the sensor down kind of dramatically
* No video
* High/low/center measurements only
* System is too slow for measurements to actually keep up with the image
* Image has a full second of latency capture-to-display, which totally defeats the one other purpose of a fast framerate besides video recording
* Doesn't save thermographic data whatsoever.
For $1000, you'd be MUCH better off with a name-brand product, unfortunately.

It is stuck with what feels like 3-5x zoom built in, runs at like 5 fps at best more like 3fps, and has a 2 second delay on the video feed.
Also the general suite of measurement features is a joke compared to $200-400 comparable units, tablets, and even IR phone adapters. feels like the UI came back from the 2000s and runs like a Nokia phone.
The only feature this has going for it is higher than usual thermal imager resolution compared to other units in the price range, and it's usually accurate.
Stupid expensive for what essentially is a little toy.
Screen images pretty good.
Tells you the temperature of the pinpoint spots pretty okay I guess.
It's slow to turn on and the user interface is about as brutally basic as possible.
I should have just spent the money on a flir
