Admittedly, I have never tried to use parchment paper in any of the air fry ovens since it would not stay down with the fans. The weight of these mats holds them down. Most of the foods I air fry are either breaded or stick to the air fry basket (oiling the basket can destroy the finish). Previous to getting these pads, the mesh of the air fry baskets was often difficult to get really clean. Stuff stuck in the corners where the mesh crossed, and often fell through the baskets to burn onto the base of the grill or the heating elements in the oven. I got them clean, but it sometimes took some effort and time.
These mats are a game changer for all of my ovens and grill. Some juices may fall through them depending on what is air fried, but no breading, cheese, etc. falls through. Nothing sticks to these mats and only a little soap and warm water washes off any grease or oil on them. The time saver is in cleaning the air fry baskets and grills. Absolutely nothing is stuck to them and a swish in warm soapy water cleans of any grease or juices that my have gotten through to them. Since using these mats, I haven't had to clean any burnt residue from the heating elements in my oven. If I ever had to replace these mats, I would definitely buy them again.

I love these mats, and use them in all of my air fry ovens and grills. For my Ninja Foodi 5-in-1 grill, these mats fit perfectly for both the grill and the air fry basket. In the NinjaFoodi XL grill, these mats are a bit small, but are useful if air frying an amount of food that fits on them. I also use them for my Ninja Foodi XL oven and need to use both mats to cover the air fry basket.Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on May 17, 2021

The liners make clean-up a little easier, you still going to have to do a little cleaning to the rack but I don't have to scrub anymore when I cook chicken.
