you already know why you're in the market for this type of product, but for a beginner like me whose flushed short irons often carry farther than my poorly hit longer clubs, i certainly don't need to be lugging around a full set to be able to work on my game.
compared to the loma which is ~$40 more expensive, i think this is the smarter choice. though the loma gets you more colorways and storage, here are my two cents on why you don't need the upsell:
the $50 difference is more than enough to spend on nice double-walled bottle instead of the insulated pocket.
this model's storage capacity is enough to hold your standard personal effects and glove, tees and maybe three sleeves of balls if you're prone to finding the water. a golf outing that needs more gear than that probably also needs more clubs in the bag too. you could also clip on some kind of m.o.l.l.e pouch or fanny pack situation if you really feel like you're hurting for more storage.
anyway, i doubt the stand mechanism will really be pushed to its limits with just 6/7 clubs, and the overall finish of the product seems adequate. five out of five putts.
