CHINS 4S4P ( 51.2V 1600AH lifepo4 battery pack )
Precautions for series and parallel connection of lifepo4 batteries
- Please use 14.2~14.6V charging voltage to fully charge all lifepo4 batteries individually;
- Please connect all batteries in parallel to form a new battery pack to automatically balance the voltages of two adjacent batteries;
- Please continue to charge the new battery pack with a charging current less than 10A (charging time is at least 5 hours);
- Please disassemble all the batteries connected in parallel, and let the batteries stand for 2 hours, and then test the voltage of all the batteries separately;
- When the voltage difference between two adjacent batteries is within 30mV, you can connect these lifepo4 batteries in parallel and in series.
After learning about lifepo4 batteries and watching tear-down videos I saved up enough money and bought my first 12v 300a Chins battery in 2021. I have now upgraded three more times, first adding capacity in amperage, then upgrading in voltage to a 24v DC system. I now have four of the same 12v Chins batteries wired in 2S2P for a 24v 600a system. Boy am I glad I did. Running a 3000w LF Sungold inverter along with a combined 400a C rate for these batteries, leaves me with no regrets to safely power all my loads: washing machine & dryer, dehumidifier, fridge, and various other items - all at the same time.I like the terminal layout, the ruggedness of the enclosure, and the fact that over the years the conformity of the build has rough stayed the same. I have not had a single problem with these batteries. The shipping was timely and the packaging was well put together on every order.Picture is with front panel removed. Chins batteries are on foam-board over concrete floor. above, is a layer of cement-board and then plywood for mounting. Victron smart-shunt wiring is managed when panel is installed (one for the battery bank, another for the inverter, running through a Cerbo-GX with a Vicrton 150/100 VE.Can SmartSolar charge controller).If and when I upgrade again, I will purchase Chins batteries.Cheers.

After learning about lifepo4 batteries and watching tear-down videos I saved up enough money and bought my first 12v 300a Chins battery in 2021. I have now upgraded three more times, first adding capacity in amperage, then upgrading in voltage to a 24v DC system. I now have four of the same 12v Chins batteries wired in 2S2P for a 24v 600a system. Boy am I glad I did. Style: 12V 200AHVerified Purchase
I recently installed these in my RV as an off grid solar installation. I have not had a chance to truly test the batteries but I will review that they shipped quick and were well packaged.
The thing that stood out was that Chins proactively reached out to to provide parameters before I even received that batteries and asking if I needed assistance. I replied that I was wiring them in series for a 24v system and they sent me the parameters for a series application. I could have done without this information and have been just fine but the fact that they were proactive and responded was a positive for me. I don’t typically do reviews.
