Don't let the low price fool you, this is a very good product and great value! Here is some of the reasons:
1. Test leads alone are worth the price of the meter, they are good quality
2. Uses AAA batteries instead of 9V
3. Large very easy to read display with great contrast. Better than my expensive meter.
4. NCV function works great
5. Auto-ranging
I didn't need another meter but I saw this for $7 during Prime day and now I am glad I bought it. It has become my main everyday meter saving my more expensive one. Also, don't be discouraged by the 2000 counts. It will simply switch automatically to a higher range with more than enough accuracy for everyday use. Yes, more expensive meters with 6000 or 8000 counts will display more digits and perhaps be more accurate but I can't imagine where I would need that kind of accuracy for everyday use.
