I love this piece and it's a perfect first thing to see when I enter my room. I throw my keys on it and grab a book or a drink!The lower shelves click closed with a magnet, and you push them again to open them.All the pieces when assembling were clearly labeled and individually bagged. A real time saver, though going at it without a drill still took me just over an hour with some Netflix in the background.My photos don't clearly indicate it, but there were vinyl coverups included so the final piece will have no exposed screws. I didn't apply them all because I want to do one last tightening pass after I move in a few weeks!I braved this without a drill and was totally successful with the end product. Still, it was recommended and would have helped. I also found that uniting piece 1 and 2 was way easier with a wide flathead screwdriver than with a Phillips head.

The dresser arrived in good condition and was very easy to put together. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Everything went together nicely with minimal effort. I have been looking for a good quality bookshelf and this color finish is exactly what I wanted. Shipping was fast and actually came I'm earlier than expected. From opening the box you could tell it was packaged thoughtfully with plenty of foam padding. As I was taking out the wood pieces I could tell it was quality material. Taking out the peices they are clearly marked and the instructions are easly readable. I used a drill to help speed up the process but this could easily be done with just a screw driver. Overall I really enjoy this product and I think it makes a goof fit for my home. Would not hesitate to buy for a friend or family member.

Had a few extra screws and nails that would most likely be lost so as to provide them in case of a need, precluding a failed completion.
