Much more than a praise & worship album, The Worship Initiative represents a bigger project near and dear to Shane & Shane: a worship resource where musicians and worship leaders can get both musical training and spiritual teaching. It was a vision to merge musicianship and mentorship. This is the latest recorded project for The Worship Initiative. It features covers of popular worship tracks played by A-list musicians. In addition to the recorded music, there is an online resource that offers a video of each instrument playing each track in detail, inductive Bible training, devotions to accompany each song and a scripture search function.

true as one reviewer said there is little here that is new or daring. but I do not think that was the point. the music was intended as part of a larger project to help worship bands develop. do some research.
the music here unlike many worship albums is not overly produced or overly compressed to compete on radio. of the worship albums I have this is one that can be listened to all the way through, without skipping over some of the attempts to find their sound as in other groups. I can even place it on repeat and not get bored or tired of it.
simply well done praise and worship of our Lord.
and really isn't that the point ?
