Very good text as an introduction to policy analysis. I know little about economics (micro & macro), but this book cover basics of economics using one chapter in the beginning, and it helps me a lot (maybe this is nothing special in this type of text...anyway). It looks little wordy, and would be great if I could find more case study. Overall, I recommend this book.
This is a very good, strong theoretical book. This is the bible of public policy that everyone who works with policy should have close by for a reference book. Very dense and hard to get through at times, but other times the exact opposite. Always beneficial though.
Really good, informative text. It can be a tough read, though- it's a little dense. You'll need time to process and digest when you're reading- it's not always as concise or clear as it could be.
Purchased this book for an introductory microeconomics class and found the material a bit dense compared to the textbook. As a result, I did not refer to it much. The physical condition of the book when I received it was excellent though.
