While there is science to be had here, and some interesting earlier history at the beginning, Michael F. Oppenheimer turned this book into more of a partisan political screed than an actual science book.
With the passage of time, it is readily obvious that every prediction he made of the horrible effect man-made global warming would have on us throughout the 1990s and on into the next millennium, failed. And it failed during a 20+ year increase in CO2 emissions.
No wonder then, that this book, once hailed as the "Bible of the Kyoto Accord", has been out of print for about a decade as of this writing.
