This text summarises and comments on decisions and other material concerning the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and is, in that respect, adequate - though some chapters are more robust than others - but is less comprehensive and less accessible as a student text than the Joseph, Schultz & Castan OUP materials and commentary The International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights: Cases, Materials, and Commentary and insufficiently substantial to provide a working reference.
