How customer reviews and ratings work
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

This is a great book. I spent 2004 - 2008 in Iraq and watched first hand the weaving, bobbing and spinning attempts of the United States to Nation Build Iraq. Not exactly a pretty scene and a big mess to be blunt. Millions and Billions thrown into a very deep Black Hole and little to show for it once one goes beyond reading the Power Points. I was searching for a book or books that would provide me a better and broader understanding of the subject and hopefully some real world examples and stories. This book does a great job. It has not convinced me that America has any business in the Nation Building sector tho. Or certainly one led by the US Government.

In treating but out dated. The report itself is interesting, the data however are out dated. There are more recent books covering most of these cases.

great background history to today's strategic events in Middle East

A thoughtful how-to book on insane behavior. Sort of like, "The Best Way to Put Holes in Your Head With a Power Drill." Somehow the obvious lessons of history have eluded Mr. Dobbins. If he were alive during the days of imperial Rome, he would have written about the best ways to manage Roman outposts in Babylon and Judea, ignoring the question of why the Caesars thought Rome could and should rule the world.

This book was a great piece of writing for anyone that is interested in learning about how the U.S. helps rebuild nations. It was very useful for research that I was conducting.
