This book provides a comprehensive exposition of international law. Each chapter examines the present position, the decisions of international courts and tribunals and any proposals for reform. This edition has been updated throughout to take account of all recent developments in this area of international law. As well as being a useful aid for law students, this book should also help students of international politics and diplomacy in understanding how the international community actually works.

You cannot go wrong with this book when dealing with international law. The language is simple, clear and to the point. The chapters are thorough enough and cover topics such as Law of the Sea, State Immunity, Diplomatic Immunity, Sources of Law . . . all topics which are currently included in my school's International Law course. This book was recommended to me by a professor and it has lived up to my expectations.
This text book is very much in touch with recent world changes as it relates to international law. It cover most of the topics expected in an undergraduate law course. The section on Human rights is a good start, however, human right is an area of law that is coming into its own and will require greater treatment in future editions. The text is clear, lucid and quite easy to understand.
ottima lettura per chi intraprende lo studio del diritto internazionale a timidi passi. Corredato di riferimenti ai case studies per agevolare l'assimilazione degli argomenti trattati. Consigliato!
