Given the increased emphasis on sustainable development it is always a good idea to go to the source rather than reading someone's opinion.
I have read some of the other reviews - major knock seemed to be that this document is incomplete. I'm not sure what this is based on? all references that I have seen refer to Agenda 21 as a 300 page document. And this is. And it comes with copyright of UN. So would seem to be complete to me.
I do understand that Earth Summit 1992 not only endorsed Agenda 21 but also included two other documents - The Rio Declaration of Environment and Development, and the Statement of Forest Principles.. These documents are NOT included. Perhaps this is what the other reader was referring to?
It is what it is. A government document. Not a fun read. But what can you expect from a government document?
My major complaint is with the quality of the text. I.E. One is constantly encountering random insertion of blank spaces in the middle of words making the text hard to read. I don't know if this exists in the paper copy or not, but it is very annoying.
