Produced at the request of the United Nation's Working Group on the Crime of Aggression, this paper reviews the major developments resulting from the establishment of tribunals, such as the Nuremberg Tribunal, to consider crimes against peace after the second world war, including issues of instruments and jurisprudence. The paper works to define the constituent elements necessary for an individual to be held responsible for the crime of aggression. Also considered are the major developments resulting from the establishment of the United Nations, including the relevant portions of the United Nations Charter.
