As of 2007, universal human rights norms have been articulated in nine international human rights treaties, including the Convention on the Rights of the Child and its Optional Protocols. This major study documents how the Convention on the Rights of the Child came into being providing a comprehensive record of the legislative history of the Convention. The two-volume set aims to serve as a research tool for children's rights advocates.
