Customer Review

February 12, 2015
Author Betty May manages the difficult journey of presenting the experiences of imprisoned women with a passionate empathy without losing sight of the actions for which these women find themselves incarcerated - the same compassion for those guilty - and not. She looks beyond the guilt and or blame to present a judicial system that could use similar compassion and conscientious self-analysis - and in some instances, plain common sense - in dealing with women who find themselves at the end of a journey ( in some instances more victimized than at the beginning) - from the circumstances which brought them to imprisonment.
