I am really sad to write this review. I REALLY wanted to like this mic, it seemed like it had all of the features I want plus it was very affordable. I heard a few snippets of sound being recorded from it online and I really liked the quality. I know some other people here mentioned that there is a buzzing or a hissing sound that comes from this mic and I have to agree.
I tried recording it from multiple different programs, I turned off all fans, electronics and made everything as quiet as possible and I still got a very loud background hiss the whole time. I even purchased a shockmount and a pop filter so after all of my trouble shooting I have to assume the hissing is coming from the mic itself. It's a real shame, I really wanted to like this mic but if I am going to be spending over $100 for audio equipment I want it to be decent. I've returned this mic and I've decided to spend the extra dough to get myself a procaster mic by rode. I guess when it comes to audio you get what you pay for... :(
