The list author says: "I read a lot. I canÂt help it, itÂs like an addiction, but a good one. I like to think it makes me smarter, if not smarter, at least more attuned to whatÂs going on all around me, what people are all about.
Fiction is what I read. Mostly suspense, but I read a lot of horror, too. Vampires and werewolves, ghosts and things that go bump in the night. I just love books that scare you as they ratchet up the tension.
I own more books that you can shake a stick at. I haunt thrift shops and brick and mortar book stores, especially used bookstores. Hardly a day goes by when I donÂt pick up a couple/three books to add to my TBR (to be read) shelves.
Also, IÂm one of those persons who sometimes, not all the time, but sometimes, buys a book even before it comes out. There is nothing like coming home from work and finding a new book by someone you love to read on your doorstep.
Here is a list of some of my finds and some books I paid full price for, because I just couldnÂt wait to find them in a thrift shop."
