The list author says: "Rock Festivals bring people together. We are exposed to artists and groups that are other fans favorites. Sometimes there's a surprise. Jethro Tull for example was simply OK to hear on album until I saw them live - "A Passion Play" and then WOW! A fun escape from the world is a festival. Monterey 2007 "SF Summer Of Love" (Jefferson Starship, The Doors, Big Brother & The Holding Co., Quicksilver, It's A Beautiful Day, Electric Flag and others) was a groovy experience to attend. We celebrated the past, but knew we couldn't re-live it. One day I hope a DVD comes out. Peace!"
