The list author says: "I read a lot. I canÂt help it, itÂs like an addiction, but a good one. I like to think it makes me smarter, if not smarter, at least more attuned to whatÂs going on all around me, what people are all about.
Fiction is what I read. Mostly suspense. I just love it when a book reaches out and grabs me by my eyes and forces me to read as fast as I can, so I can find out if our heroine gets away, who the killer is or if the hero gets what heÂs been after for about two or three hundred pages.
I own more books that you can shake a stick at. I haunt thrift shops and brick and mortar book stores, especially used bookstores. Hardly a day goes by when I donÂt pick up a couple/three books to add to my TBR (to be read) shelves.
Also, IÂm one of those persons who sometimes, not all the time, but sometimes, buys a book even before it comes out. There is nothing like coming home from work and finding a new book by someone you love to read on your doorstep.
Here is a list of some of my finds and some books I paid full price for, because I just couldnÂt wait to find them in a thrift shop."
