The list author says: "This is a general list (and growing) of stuff needed to help survive a long term (1 month to 1 year) stint in a urban (downtown) environment. This stuff is the best you can get for the least amount of money. Alot of camping/wilderness survival gear is not included, but should be handy incase you have to head for the hills. This includes portable water purification, tent, sleeping bag, firestarter, portable stove etc. This should be packed and ready should TSHTF.
You also should have a decent collection of guns. You should have a riotgun/cheap shotgun. You should have a LARGE CALIBER (.40 or .45) Handgun, and you should have a semi-auto rifle. Most people choose an AR-15 type rifle, I like a nice Ruger Mini-14. You should have at least 100 Shotgun shells, 200 Bullets for your Pistol, and at least 500 for your semi-auto.
You should also have a halfway decent supply of books on general first aid and general survival skills.
You should also have a local area map with all important locations (hospitals, police stations, grocery stores, etc.) Also map out a quick escape route that dosen't use highways.
You also need a good first aid kit with a good home suture kit. Also a month's supply of general anti-biotics.
Don't forget to stock up food and water!
With this list, and an appropriate supply of food and water, you will be able to make it a month no problem! Maybe even six months! Heck maybe even a year! But after a year, if things are still bad, it will be time to head for the hills and try to find a piece of land to start farming!"
