The list author says: "I love getting the most bang for my buck and hate buying anything I won't love or use a lot. I research every purchase-big and small- and try and find the best deals. I have compiled a list of what I think are some of the best items for first time moms."
"This was the top rated Jumperoo and I can see why. My daughter loves this! She is 5 1/2 months old and we've used this almost daily with her since she was 4 months old. She loves to jump and all the different toys keep her entertained."
"I looked at lots of more expensive bouncers but this one is perfect. We've used it almost daily since she was born for naps and feeding etc. It's great having something so portable to put her in wherever. This is definately a must have"
"I love these bottles and thankfully so does my daughter. They are so easy to use and clean up is a breeze. The Target brand liners are cheaper but work just as well. These really helped with my daughter's gassiness."
"We started using this when my daughter was about a month old and she loved looking up at all the colors. Now that she's older (5 mo)she's really starting to love this. She loves the lights and music and all the hanging toys."
"Wish I hadn't spent the extra money and just went with the standard Graco. It never occured to me that the heavier weight limit was pointless because I wouldn't want to lug her around when she got heavier. Also, once my daughter was 4 months old she really disliked her car seat and we ended up switching to a convertible seat anyways"
"This was one product I was hesitant to buy. I ended up purchasing an almost brand new one with tray included off of craigslist for $25! I'm glad I didn't pay full retail for it because it wasn't a big hit with my daughter and she only used it a handful of times. I recommend trying this out first before you buy and don't pay full retail for it."
"Sleep sacks are the best invention. My daughter hated being swaddled from day one but I was nervous just putting a blanket over her because she squirmed so much I worried the blanket would get over her face. Problem solved with these sleep sacks. I have both cotton and fleece and use them every night. Stock up on sizes when you find them on sale."
"Big splurge purchase and not sure if it was worth it. I thought it was so cute but my daughter is much more content to chew on her hands or mine. My dogs go crazy for the squeak it makes so it will probably just become the worlds most expensive dog toy."
"This would have worked ok for a part time pump but I ended up have to exclusively pump and rented a pump. The hospital grade was SO much better in every way and I only paid $35 a month. Wish I had saved my money and not bought the Lansinoh"
"Not technically a baby item but I love it nonetheless. So small that I keep it in my diaper bag so I can catch all of her cutest moments on video. Best of all is how easy it is to upload to computer and send to family"
