"Danger Danger was one of the forgotten hair bands of the 80's. It's a real shame because this album is probably one of the best from that decade. It's more melodic than other 80's albums, but the songs rock, and the guitar playing is amazing. Way to go Timmons!"
"Mr. Bigs first album "self titled" is a 60 minute chop fest. The songs are all easily forgetable, save Addicted and Take a walk. With lean into it, they put their pride aside and just made a kick butt album. The songs all rock hard and each song has it's own unique personaility to it. They all sound like Mr. Big, but they all sound different."
"You know I never was a big Metallica fan, but I always liked Megadeth. Go Figure. This album, well certainly not a straight up rocker like other CD's on this list, is an awesome album anyway. My favorite Megadeth album. Course they went down hill after So Far So Good..."
"Theatre of rock more like it. MC put out pretty decent albums. This one has the best consistent songs out of all of their releases. This is when Motley was at the top of their game in both concerts and albums."
""My my my... Once Bitten Twice Shy". Whenever you mention the name great white that's the first thing people think of. That's a real shame because, "Twice Shy" is probably their worst album. This was the album that got me hooked.... haha on Great White and it's probably my favorite. It is certainly the hardest rocking out of all their stuff."
"Def Leppard is a band that started out rocking hard, but then became more pop with hysteria, and then lame with Adrenalize. However, have hope Hard Rock fans because Retro Active has some serious Def Leppard type rock on it. Plus some of Phil and Steve's best guitar work."
"CC helped make Poison a house hold name. But you could always tell the other musicians were holding back a little bit. Now, fueled by Kotzen's absolutely flawless playing, Rikki, Bobby and Bret show you exactly how hard they can rock. And rock they do."
