"LOVE this camera. Probably one of the most underrated Pentax cameras ever. For that matter, it was underrated as a DSLR. Weather seals, top LCD and a Battery grip in a sub-$1000 camera. Even today there is not another like it."
"I got mine before the price got stupid. Tack sharp as long as you stay at f/2 or better. Not that 1.4 and 1.8 are not useable, you just lose some sharpness. Tiny and light, it is great for walk around."
"For $160 this is an amazing lens. As long as you don t try pushing it, it is sharp with rich color. Wide open and at 300mm you lose sharpness but drop down to 250ish and f/8 its greeat. Excellent Macro function."
"Like the WR version this is a nice, sharp lens that is small and light. One thing to love about the Pentax DAs - almost all use the same 49mm filter. Instead of a bunch of average ND/Polarizers I got one really good one of each."
"First lens I added to my kit. Soft wide open, short range and light/plasticy. That said it was a bargain at $44 and I more than got my money's worth. If you are just starting out it is an inexpensive way to expand."
"Another item I got before the price got stupid ($30). Essential gear for the K200. You will run out of light before you run out of power. Makes the K200 the perfect size and weight IMHO. Essential for Portrait shooting."
"Absolute TANK of a tripod! It is also HUGE. I am 5' 6" and with the legs fully extended I have to stand on my toes - and that is with the center column all the way down. Nice bag that is big enough for the legs with my 498RC2 attached."
"I never shot RAW until I got Lightroom 3. Makes RAW shooting no different than JPEG as far as post goes. Presets are awesome and addictive. Im an Apple guy but Lightroom beats the crap out of Aperture"
"Buy this while you can! Full copy of Bridge CS4 is included giving you the next best thing to Lightroom for RAW processing. Version 9 has the "organizer" from the Windows version. 85% of full Photoshop. Add Elements+ and you are at 95%."
