"The Boppy pillow is very popular (and I have that too), but this pillow does a much better job supporting baby while breastfeeding. It also wraps around your body, which is great, because it can be tricky juggling a newborn with no control over his body and a pillow."
"I haven't tried the Medela electric pumps, but I do have a Medela manual pump and I like the breast shields on the Philips Avent better. I think the Philips Avent breast pump works quickly and relatively quietly. The main con here is the number of pieces that need to be disassembled and washed. It's manageable, but not super desirable."
"Not everyone loves this book, but if you like predictability and structure, this is a great book to have. The author gives detailed routines to follow, based on the age of your baby. What's important to know is that these are not just arbitrary schedules, but that they're based on normal sleeping/feeding patterns in babies."
"These are great for use as burp cloths. Not as great as the Aden & Anais ones, but much cheaper. I have 12 of these and still feel like I could use more (there is no way I was going to buy 12 Aden & Anais burp cloths!)."
