"Wally Lamb is one of my favorite authors, but he gives his books strange titles, that don't really do his stories justice. The is one of the best books I have ever read. It is a story of identical twins, narrated by the healthy one about the other one's struggle with mental illness."
"Another great book, with a title that doesn't really reflect the story. Here the narrator tells the story of his wife's struggle with his wife's post traumatic stress disorder after surviving the Columbine shooting."
"An intriguing story! The narrator tells about his father's first wife who was mentally disabled due to an accident. She lives with his family like an older sister, his mother, the second wife is her caretaker. A truly wonderful story of love and acceptance with in a family"
"Another good one. I was able to understand more about Jennette's mother's behavior after reading this account of her childhood, and her mother meeting her father. Both of her parents were a bit off, so to speak!"
"I am sad this one is over, it had to do with a town on the Northern Calif. coast. Two sisters separated in a foster care, find each other. The older one had a books store and land from her adoptive parents, the younger one had been in and out of treatment and was seeking custody of her daughter whom she lost custody of. An enjoyable read about antother family's troubles."
