Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter, By Laurell K Hamilton

Amazon Customer "KML"
The list author says: "Ok, I read a lot of vampire romance and fantasy series books... and this one is one of the more contorversial. A lot of people have a lot of issues with these books... They start out as more violent, and slowly turn more towards the erotica. These books are not for children, but for adults who know what they are getting into. They can be a great escape from reality! Enjoy... I know I have!

UPDATE: Ok, I did love this series for a long time... but it's gotten to be too much towards the erotica now, and after Bullet... I'm done with it. I still recommend the series books 1-9... but after that they just start to go downhill. Continue on at your own risk!"

Flirt (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter, Book 18)
Flirt (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter, Book 18)
"Book #18: Do not waste your time or your money on this one!  It's even shorter than "Micha" and even more pointless.  I heard that Laurell K Hamilton took an actual lunch date conversation about flirting and had to make a book out of it... I wish she hadn't.  The conversation that inspired this book is the most retarded thing Ive ever read!"
Bullet (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter)
Bullet (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter)
"Book 19: I was really, really hoping for a trun around here... hoping we get more of a focus on Anita's police work again, and less focus on sex!  The story line had promise!  Anita is trying to become the Master of Tigers.  And it could have been interesting if it wasn't so filled with sex, and TALKING ABOUT SEX.  Barf... I'm done now"
