"I love Butler in rom-coms, but I have to agree with the critics on this one - I thought it was not up to par. I don't know if it was the script or Anniston (who is not one of my favorites). I'm glad I watched it, to keep my viewing record complete, but I doubt I will be viewing it again."
"Butler's Stoick is funny, and caring at the same time. He has a wonderful voice for doing this kind of work; it gave me the warm fuzzies! However, I fell in love with this movie because of Toothless. "The Legend of the Boneknapper Dragon" doesn't stand up well. The story was OK, but animation was inconsistent. Toothless and Stoick are mostly absent. It was cute, but not worth the money."
"Gerry plays a married man, faced with the return of "the love of his life" when she comes back to their small town. She has come home to die, and she wants him to spend what time she has left with her. My second least favorite Gerry role."
"What can I say about this one? This is the movie that introduced Gerry to many people. Dispite the fact that I think Michael Crawford should have gotten this role, Gerry, not known for his singing, does a beautiful job. And there is no denying he was good in the role. The 2nd disc contains the deleted "No One Would Listen" scene and several behind the scenes features."
"British crime-comedy at its best. This has a great ensamble cast. Gerry needs to be in more comedies; he does an excellent job in this movie. I will never be able to watch him dance again, without seeing the last scene, over the credits!"
"Since I have not seen the graphic novels upon which the Watchmen series is based, I had no trouble watching and enjoing this as a stand alone short film. Gerry's voice is a pleasure to listen to and, since he narrates the story and has most of the dialogue, we get to hear a lot of it."
"This 2 disc set contains the complete soundtrack to the movie, including most of the dialogue and Minnie Driver's version of "Learn to Be Lonely". It does NOT, unfortunately, include the Phantom's deleted song, "No One Would Listen", although, you can hear the music in the background of 2 scenes. It also does not contain the orchestral track over the end credits."
