The list author says: "This is a list of things that readers of Fun Mines might find useful when prototyping a tabletop game. Before getting too carried away, however, keep in mind that a perfectly workable kit can be had with just paper, pencils, and a set of diceÂor even no components at all. That is the spirit of prototyping: making do with what is on hand.
A caveat about this list, I am not necessarily endorsing these specific products. The list is really meant to simply provide you with some useful ideas."
"For early prototypes you are probably better off using standard printer paper, poster board, or foam core. A bit of extra polish can be nice, however, when your design is further along and you want to try it out on more playtesters."
