They cut 3/4 of each episode. Can only watch 22 minutes out of the 50 minute original show.
They only show 22 minutes of a 50 minute show. I got to episode 2 and realized they had cut Liza Minelli out of the whole episode. Why would I watch this on amazon prime incomplete. Don’t understand this.

Misleading
I was so disappointed! They advertised that Liza Minnelli would be on the show but then they only give you 22 minutes for one episode so there was no Liza Minnelli on that show. To me that's very misleading. I stopped watching and I would've loved to watch the full episode but apparently Amazon cut it to shreds I do not recommend watching this unless you just want a few plots. You can't go by who they advertise will be on the show, because they'll probably cut that out of the video. So don't get your hopes up. I would stay away from this, very disappointed.

Where's the rest of the show??
As other reviewers have pointed out these are only 22 min shows. Carol introduces 2 guest but you're only gonna get to see 1. I don't mind not having the singing/dancing numbers (we normally skip those anyways) but they've cut other parts out as well. We were watching episode 2 & it was an interview skit which had Carol as a Texan & her Daddy was the President. I reckon Amazon didn't like one of Carol's answers because you can actually see the skip. It wasn't smooth & then she was listening to the next question. Why is Amazon censoring?

Not the full episodes but good, nonetheless
I'll take any version of the Carol Burnett Show that I can get, and I'm delighted that Amazon has these, but these aren't the full episodes. Each episode of the original show was over 51 minutes long. Each of these episodes is 22 minutes, so over half of the original material has been cut. I'm reducing the overall rating accordingly.

That said, this show was one of the first "must-see TV" shows that I remember watching when I was younger, with some wonderful writing, hilarious performances from Carol, Vicki, Harvey, Lyle, and the immortal Tim Conway, great costumes from Bob Mackie, and guest appearances from some of the top names of the time.

Of course, the show is dated now but many of those classic sketches still hold up even today, including the spoofs ("Went With the Wind" still gets me every time), commercial parodies, "Mama's Family," the interrogation sketch, the dentist sketch, and oh so many others.

Even in their truncated form, I can still recommend the show. For me, this is the video equivalent of comfort food, spending time with some hilarious old friends, "just to have a laugh and sing a song."

The show was amazing, what they did to these videos was criminal.
This is not the Carol Burnett Show, this is half the Carol Burnett Show. Reason being I’m sure is because the greedy so-and-sos producing these episodes didn’t want to pay any royalties on the music. Unfortunately you end up missing some great old stars and the fun of a 70s variety show. I grew up watching the shows with my family, and butchered episodes really stink, but I’ll take what I can get. The sketches are hilarious, but I really wish they’d get their act together on these so we can have the complete programs.

Classic Shows Edited Way Down
The Carol Burnett show ran 60 minutes each week on CBS. These are 22 minute edits of those shows.

The comedy sketches are five stars, but the removal of all the singing and dance numbers hurts the flow. It's like CBS was too cheap to pay for the music to air on Amazon so they just cut it all out.

We could never bring ourselves to rating Carol Burnett low, but what they did to her show is almost criminal.

Amazing as always
These are not the complete shows because they've cut out all the singing and dancing numbers, which truth be told were really quite amazing. Still, the skits are a joy to watch again. I grew up watching this show with my mother back in the 70's when I was a kid. Carol inspired me then and still does to this day. The cast and guests are some of the best in the industry. Thank you, Carol Burnett, Harvey Korman, Vicky Lawrence, and Tim Conway... for a lifetime of laughs and great joy.
