Like other reviewers have said, this documentary starts out well and has a great premise, but then drags on and on and you find yourself just wishing it was over. The families of the Comair 5191 crew, along with the Airline Pilot's Association union, also do their best to misrepresent the cause of the Comair crash as the tower not paying attention, when it was primarily the fault of the crew. It's not up to the tower to make sure you're in the right place (what if it's really foggy and they can't see you?) it's up to the crew. There is a step that pilots are required to do when they line up on a runway to make sure they are on the right runway via magnetic heading. Runway 22 means 220 magnetic, Runway 26 means 260 magnetic. They lined up on Runway 22 instead of Runway 26, and all their instruments would have shown them a significant error with a visible indicator. They didn't notice this because they were rushing through their checklists. I feel bad for the guy, I really do, that he has to live with the fact that he killed 49 people though making a mistake... but it really seems like the families of the crew are in denial and this film is helping them stay there.
We don't get too much info on the other flights and why they crashed, it mostly follows the guy in Reno... but really you get no impression of any of these people's lives or who they are. It's very shallow and unfulfilling.
