Plan to ponder the concept after the movie.

The concept of this movie is insane. Every second that passes in the cave is a season on the outside. Terrifying and mesmerizing at the same time. There is not one thing bad about this movie. Had me thinking for a whole day after watching it. I'm really curious about the gray alien form humans took on at the end. Also, I would imagine the tall human explorer's generation passed on while he was in the cave. This is a movie for people interested in where humanity might be millions of years from now. People that like to think. Not the modern popcorn movie buff types. The ending credits song is the perfect fit. The only other movie i can think of on this mind bending level is The Arrival (2016).

Surprisingly great

Working with limited budget and less experienced actors... yet, this film delivers. There are some cheesy bits and some cheap set designs and questionable dialogue due to the lack of budget. But the idea and the execution and the movie overall are extremely well done and very fun. For movie fans in general but probably more specifically for science fiction fans or time travel fans.

This is the most fun I've had watching a movie in quite a while. This is a strange thoughtful movie. Inception meets Tree of Life. That's what I was reminded of.

Honestly it's probably a four-star movie but I have great respect for the people who made this film with much less than bigger budget films. So the extra star is for effort.

I actually thought this movie would be a waste of my time. I was pleasantly surprised! Finally something a little different! Movies are can be a nice break, at the end of a long work week. This was one of those movies where you can daydream and wonder, what if... Anyway, if you like movies, especially scifi, but hate the sex scenes and other Hollywood BS, you will like this.

What an amazing movie!!

I don't write movie reviews because I live in the dark ages, but I had to take the extra effort on this one. It's a great adventure! I highly recommend it. Not scary but a few tense moments. I don't remember a single cuss word. Relationships are appropriate and family is upheld. I was left with soaring hope at the end...... I hope you take the chance on this one. A great family movie. I'm so glad I purchased instead of merely renting.

Poorly written

People go into a cave and time slows to a crawl for them while years go by in minutes outside the cave, Okay neat idea, problem 1 of the girls climbs out and is out for 30 minutes and the earth has turned to crap. She climbs back into the cave and she hasn't aged at all compared to her friends. Later a human from the distant future comes in and eventually the same girl gets pulled up out of the cave again then reappears redressed and rescues the rest of them while half in and half out of the time displacement. Need I go on it really is written poorly and the acting isn't very good either.

Where's Boss?
Verified purchase
Yeah, they didn't have a huge budget for filming or hiring famous actors, but the story is a lot of fun - reminded me of the choose your own adventure books from the 80s - and the actors do a really good job. I just want to know that Boss is safe!

It's the most important thing in the verse...

Very nice surprise for an indi sci-fi film. I'm glad people can still look that far forward with their imagination. We need more hopeful people creating cool flicks like this to keep the imaginative fires glowing. Have a swell day churnin and burnin through this imaginative gem of an independent Sci-Fi film.

Awful!

What utter garbage, I cannot even fathom the reviews are giving even one star, teenage acting is awful, gibberish time traveler, and moronic cavemen. Please, this would have been bad if it were free, I’m embarrassed we paid for it.
