The humor is more dark (with plenty of unapologetic violence) than one would expect in with two traditionally light-hearted actresses starring the film. Most of the humor also won't appeal to the male sex, as there are a number of crude jokes from a female's perspective. The exaggeration is widespread and plot-line is completely unrealistic (but when did that stop most thriller/action movies), but it's a carefree mindless movie with always brilliant and novel acting by Kate McKinnon. Part of the "problem" with this movie is that our society still has not found a way to accept women as funny the way traditional crude humor is portrayed with male protagonists.

Didn’t like the language in the movie, the first 10 minutes of the movie and the “F” bomb was dropped at least 10 times, that’s not real life. We didn’t finish the movie.

If you loved Sisters, and Bad Moms, you'll love this movie!! I'm not sure why Sam Heughan isn't one of the top-billed actors, because he's got a great following on Outlander, and is a main character. This movie is hilarious, totally inappropriate for kids, and full of great spy action sequences. I pre-ordered it, after seeing it in theaters, and will be buying the DVD, as well, so I can watch it when we're not connected to the internet. 🎆😆🎆

I am literally ashamed that my wife selected this utter garbage and actually PAID to view it. I'm sorry that I cannot say more, but dredging up memories of this "movie" (and I just walked out and grabbed my notebook to smoke a cigar outside) literally makes me a little queasy. The lines are bad, the plot is bad, and the "secret flash drive" that the entire movie is centered upon is not a flash drive at all, but is only the retractable cover that we are all familiar with on the flash drives we carry on our keys or in our purses, etc. Its an empty shell that you can clearly see, and the director thought no one would notice. But it is on par with the acting - empty, no value.

An entertaining buddy/spy movie. I can't believe it took so many years for women to start being cast in normal, light movies.

This was a midday rental for myself and my boyfriend. Neither of us expected to laugh so much but it was great! It kind of reminded me of the austin powers movies. Just all out funny the whole movie.

Before reading any further, I would like to explain that spy movies will often have the following: torture, high speed chases, multiple bloody deaths, and nudity. This movie shows a single, dangling scrotum and a whoosh of male genitalia, and a few sheltered citizens are losing their minds. Yes the "f-bomb" is used, just like in every other spy film ever to exist. Yes there's lots of gory death, because again, spy film. Every spy movie with torture shows 100x worse than this, here we get a few bloody noses and GSWs, and everyone has decided to boycott it ten minutes in. It's like any light-hearted spy comedy, except a few gender roles are reversed and I have a feeling that's what has put a few of our friends in a tizzy. If you want an easy movie that's funny, takes a few jabs at stereotypical gender roles in film, and overall shows off McKinnon for the gem she is, this is the one. If you want very serious spy plots, naked women ONLY, and a badass male lead, I highly recommend Austin Powers.
