The book itself seems to have a great deal to offer. However, it's hard to get at in the Kindle edition
I would order this again.
Every chapter is wonderfully written and lushly illustrated with his process and the final solution. The chapter "How to be a graphic designer in the middle of nowhere" literally gave me chills as his introduction to design and his growth as an artist was similar to mine.
Thank you and bravo, Mr. Bierut for creating easily my new favorite book and quite possibly the BEST book on graphic design. Highly recommended.

I wasn’t sure when I was buying it what it contains, with “how to’s” being the clue, but each section is a different project he worked on with different problems and solutions. Only one page dedicated to explaining the problem and solution and the others showing spreads of the graphics and small text descriptions for each image. I can’t say I love them all, but most are delightful and even those that aren't are thought provoking. I ended up reading it within the day I started it and it was worth every penny.
The book is quite heavy and large, however it is a veritable bible for graphic designers lookig for inspiration. Beautifully presented, would look good on any book shelf. Covers all areas of graphic design including working on your own.
The book was well packaged and arrived quickly.
I want one too!
All this book contains is the author stroking their own ego, showing examples of their past work (which is really not very impressive) and them telling us why it's great.
